Boosting by tricking IAT and O2 sensors

Anyone ever tried this "boost" device for sale at e-bay (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/25HP-...ayphotohosting) ?

Looks it will work, however may shorten engine life due to using more than rated power output for a given outside temperature and altitude:

"Magnum Tuning has been dealing with manufacture of ECU upgrades and performance parts since 1994. Our experience warrants peak performance, reliability & perfect style.

HOW CAN WE WARRANT SUCH SPECTACULAR RESULT?

We have to suppose that the operation of injection / ignition system is significantly determined on the signals of different sensors as IAT (Intake Air Temperature), ECT (Engine Coolant Temperature), AFM (Air Flow Meter) and OS (Oxygen sensor), therefore when we trick their signals we may regulate effectively engine output.
Dyno-BOOST arranges advanced air/fuel ratio, consequently you can use your bike as a race machine."

I saw that looking through ebay for parts for my 955i. It's possible it does give you more hp, but I am really skeptical. Something for $40 that is supposed to boost my engine +25 hp makes me really leery of it. It looks like it changes the signal from your O2 sensor in your exhaust and probably tells the engine your taking more air in then your really are so your engine runs rich, supposedly making more horsepower because the factory detuned the engine for emissions. Not to mention that this part has not been tested on a 955i or used on one as far as I can tell from the ad and is a blanket part they are trying to sell for any bike. Basically, it might be interesting to try and put it on a dyno with an air/fuel ratio sensor, but your gas mileage will go through the floor, your engine will run rich, it wouldnt surprise me if you go through a lot of spark plugs, and you will have zero to minimal hp increase. I definitely wouldnt buy one, but that's just my take on it.
