2002 Daytona, clutch cable routing question

I just bought a 2002 Daytona 955i.

The clutch cable isn't routed correctly, it's rubbing underneath the lock. I would take a picture, but my SD card just disintegrated in my hand.

Would someone be able to post a pic of the way the clutch cable is routed??

Thanks in advance..

Chris

Chris, The clutch cable routes around the head tube under the throttle cables. The '04 has a d&t'd boss with a ring installed (doesn't help much, however). Both sets of cables route behind the ignition switch.

Here are a few pictures of the clutch cable. My clutch cable is stock, the throttle cables are not.

If anyone has a photo of the left side switchgear wiring routing, I could use that. Does that wiring go through the metal cable guide on the lower triple or not?

Thanks,
Edmund

Thanks, the posts and pics are very helpful. I believe I know what the problem is...I'll look at it tomorrow.

I've gotten a chance to ride it last night and tonight...man, I love this bike
