Assembling the DSSA????

I'm mounting a Double Sided arm to my frankenbike frame with what looks like all the correct hardware (according to the manual). Strange. It seems that there is a space required but none in my parts pile. The left side has a block spacer (rides on the inside of the needle bearing) that is basically flush with the left side of the swingarm when assembled.

Putting it all together it seems like there should be a space of say.. 1/2" thick between the left frame and the end of the block spacer. The BikeBandit parts diagram does not show or list a spacer at this location.

Anybody have of these apart that can vouch for a spacer....or no spacer?

I have a "black project" I'm working on. Look at the main frame and fittings schematic, 2: SPACER RING,34.5X17.5X9, DOUBLE SIDED SWINGARM
This is a swag because my project is in the mainland with my brother. He told me the DSSA didn't line up; needed about an 1"-1.5" on the left spacer. I found that spacer ring in the schematic and then was lucky to ID one in a pile of bolts on Fleabay. My brother said that did the trick. Now I'm looking for shock linkage.
Let us know how it works out.

Thanks

Triton
Thanks for that info. The BikeBAndit parts schematic doesnt show that part but my manual refers to one. I'm just wondering how to read thopse dimes. Maybe I can make the part.
Is 9mm the thickness or is 34.5mm? I'll assume the 17.5 is the inside diameter (hole). Do you recall if your spacer was about 34mm thick?

The bike bandit schematic; That's where I first saw it.

Anyhow, I'll have to call my brother to get the dimensions but looking at the pic I'd say 34.5 OD, 17x ID, and 9mm thick. I'll ask him to take an actual picture of it too.

I made a spacer from some machine bushings, installed it yesterday and it worked perfectly. Thanks so much for your help.
