I've put some great miles a Sprint RS. Nice spirited mount. I've been lured by a Daytona for some time. Last November I bought a wrecked 02 CE as a winter project. It's been back on the road for a few months now and I've been getting to know it a bit at a time. So far I've never had it over say... 7k.

Yesterday I decided to see what it felt like near the redline. OMG, 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifting at about 10k with the wheel hovering up from the road as hounds from hell howl below and behind me. 90mph in what felt like a few seconds.

Don't think I'll ever do that again on the public roads. How do you guys cope with this? Can this thing be made to be a nice Sunday ride? Thinking to sell this thing before I'm tempted again.

You know that little handle on the right hand side, it twists both ways.

Yeah its a bit like that isn't it. maybe a track day or the local drag strip would be fun i think!

I have been able to tame myself over the last few years with my tona.....needless to say every once in a blue moon I'll let her fly 1st through 3rd...it feels amazing...then reality sets in that you can't do that all the time. But its tempting.
