Spark Plug Change, Airbox question???

I am changing the plugs. All three looked good but hopefully this is whats causing the hesitation below 4k. Now on to the question. When I pulled off the airbox there are three hoses on the bottum. As seen while sitting on the bike, the far left one goes to the ECU, the middle one (larger) goes to the far lower left side of the engine crank case cover, the last line on the far left is a tube about 8 inches long that just hangs from the bottum of the airbox not connected to anything. My question is is it suppose to connect to anything or just hang? I can not see any missing line or connector for it.

Thanks,
Komodo

Komodo, That's the airbox drain. I noticed on the ZX6 here that there's a small bottle attached to the airbox's drain hose. I think I'll get one just to seal up the airbox a tad.

Komodo, I also had experienced hesitation at low revs and some difficulty starting the bike after it sat overnight. I started using strictly 89 octane, after reading another post on this site, and I no longer have hesitation or hard starting issues.

What octane gas were you using?

I was using primarily Shell V-power 93 octane but atleast 92 octane if I didn't fill up at a Shell station.
