What map do I have

I have a 2001 955i Daytona with the DSSA and the VIN starts 133XXX, I connected Tuneecu today and had a fault code PO135 oxygen sensor, I cleared it and it hasn't returned, but i also checked which map was loaded and found it to be 201205 but can't find this in the Tuneecu library. I have an end can that I'm going to fit, just waiting on a link pipe so I was thinking of uploading the massive midrange 3 tune but not sure where to start due to the existing map, any ideas?

Mods if this is in the wrong section please move it to the correct section

a VIN starting 133xxx and a DSSA is a 2002 model regardless of whether it was manufactured in 2001 - you would be better just calling it a 2002, which will avoid any confusion when identifying it

That map number makes no sense regarding OEM convention - possibly is custom - 201205 sounds like a 'date' reference (may 2012)
Your map for an MC1000 ECU should begin 10XXX

The Julian map works very well with an 02 Daytona last one on the list for the Daytona see here.

Cheers will have a look at that, I will also try to get more info on the tune already loaded tomorrow and see if I can upload some screen shots.

Here are 2 screen shots one showing the map number and the other showing the actual map, I don't know if anyone can look at it and compare with any standard maps, as I'm not sure how to do this with the Android system.

That map is a non standard map its richer than the Julian map I use and not as rich as the MM3 so what it is I'm not sure, someone's one-off probably.

TBH mate, it really doesn't matter what map you have if you're going to try another one, just make sure you back it up before uploading the new one then you can always go back to it.

Cheers PaulM I just wanted some feed back so i know what I'm starting with. Dai-San I just needed a starting point, now I've had some feed back i will be extra careful with the current map before trying any other. The bike is currently using the standard pipe and I'm looking at using a different mid pipe and end can, so i will probably try this without changing the map.

Hi Gazmo65, Your bike probably had a free flowing can of some sort one it before you bought it, the previous owner probably swapped to a standard can sold the bike and then sold the other one happens all the time. Doubt if it will run well with that tune and a standard can they normally run run a bit flat with a standard can and a sports type tune. You can save the tune on tunecu and try a standard oem tune. See here http://www.tomhamburg.net/Tune_List.html
