I had a ride on my workmates '02 R6 and found it too "toylike" I'd twist the grip and still feel like I was barely moving even though the engine sounded otherwise. I had not bought my 02 955i at the time and was riding a Kawasaki Mean Streak (1500cc!) so everything felt like a toy next to it. I traded my Mean Streak in for the 02 Daytona 955i and it does NOT feel like a toy. It seems to have the perfect balance between the two worlds. Grunt like a big V-twin and the deceptively long legs of a sport bike. After riding it and then hopping on other 4 cylinder sport bikes, I LOVE LOVE LOVE my 955i Daytona. It does seem that most (this is not a dig ok) Japanese sportbikes sound and feel a little toylike to me IMHOFWIW.
