Hiya Harry,
You lucky bleeder - 2 Super IIIs. There are a few SIII owners on here, but you'll probably run across most of them over on the T3 Sport Touring forum. Welcome to the club, btw!
Cheers

lots of carbon fiber

once you see or own one....you would know the feeling
Chrisschef..... photo please! These bikes are nothing special compared to new stuff, but they are if you know what I mean. I've been out with the latest 'Jap rockets' but my bike gets all the attention Riding the fastest bike, doesn't mean your the fastest!!!!!! This bike is CLASS
hi only photos at present are sorry ones of it in bits as trying to trace a nasty sounding engine noise {a strange clacking noise only after 3000rpm
checked everthing inc clutch shims balance carbs altnr bolt ??? bike has been down on one side but very gentle tumble.i have owned a speedtriple for years but worked away and left it in storeage then another super 111 came up i made an offer on it and now its in my liveing room.loved these bikes and vowed to have one but at £11,500 new not a chance.i rode one last year that had done 65000 miles and was used everyday and it was rock solid a bit rough around edges {uk winters}but it was still 2 1/2 grand ....i will sort this bike out as its a bit of british history and rideing a t3 tripple is a great bike but a cossie engined one even better
Just bought a 1995 Super III with a bit over 6000 miles, but sat for 5 years.
Needed carbs rebuilt and all new hoses and lines but it's in awesome condition, has some very small scratches. Anyone have any suggestions that would or should be done to the bike. After work completed bike is awesome, will need to put new tires on in the spring.
I'm in the Berkshires, MA about 5 minutes from VT and 10 minutes from NY. I love riding in VT and NY so many awesome roads with very little traffic. How about you ? I would really like to hook up with other Daytona riders.
There is a guy out in your neck of the woods who bought my old Super III a few years back. I am sure you will eventually connect with him. If I locate his info again, I will pass it on to you.
Hi Dave,
I did get your message. Have been looking for his info. I usually keep info of folks I sell bikes to. For some reason, his info isn't where I normally file that stuff. If I recall, I do not think he lived in the Berkshires but he was close to them. I am still looking and will get back with you when I find it.
Tore my files apart yesterday. Found every bike transaction I have had for the last 15 years, except for one! Guess which one? I cannot for the life of me, figure out where I left my copy of the bill of sale with his info on it. I always save that stuff in the event I need to contact the new owner at a later date. Usually, it is to give them something I have found that was intended for the bike they purchased. I will eventually find the info and get it to you. Sorry it is taking so long. I know he is out there. My guess is, you will run in to him sooner or later. His (my old) Super III is yellow (like most, if not all) and is one that has the Cosworth prepared heads and cams in it. Actually, if I recall, all Super III's had the Cosworth heads in them. They were a limited production run in the US with only 150 or 175 being imported that year (95 & 96 I think). My memories getting bad.... Might have something to do with age! ;-)
