Daytona repairs coming along!

I started my new to me 02 Daytona (crashed) after a few weeks of sourcing parts. I had to replace the leaking quick connect fuel fittings and install a non-leaking oil cooler. After a bit of 2 cylinder running, it finally got going on all three and settled into a nice idle. I have no idea how long the bike sat after the crash but it seems fine so far. Lots left to go through but should have it ready to ride soon. I could use a straighter radiator but am broke for now.

Not to spam but I have a few bits left over from the rebuild...one set of the proper metal fuel tank fittings with correct viton o-rings and a damaged but not destroyed set of blue lowers. Please contact me at madcyclesATgmail.com if you are interested in anything.

Thanks!
Ed

Being broke this time of year isn't so bad. Gives you time to save and fix the bike up exactly as you want just in time for Spring. Ebay is always a never ending source for parts and there are some other good options, good luck.

Hey Pinballer,

I've got a radiator from a 99 'tona. Don't know if it will fit an 02, but let me know if you're interested.
