I have just installed a new top yoke nut to the correct torque setting and there is a slight gap left under the nut. I cannot remember if the one on my triple was flush. Can anyone look at theirs and let me know if there is a gap and what the gap is?
Ed, If I remember correctly the top yoke's nut is conical and seats into a recess on the top yoke. I checked the '04's and I can get a .025" feeler gauge under the nut.
