T312 Daytona sidestand (Help!)

I have a Daytona 1200 with a 'sagging' kickstand/sidestand (the bike leans heavily). I'm quite sure this has to do with the flimsy metal mount to which the stand is attached. Any fixes? Once upon a time I'd read about a modified stand someone used to sell for T3 Triumphs...?

Its worth fitting a centre stand. Bolts straight on.

doc,
Like Nick said... here's one on ebay... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/99-Triumph-Trophy-900-Center-Stand-Centerstand_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ35615QQihZ0 12QQitemZ220167935087QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVWQQtcZp hoto

Are you sure it's the mount? It could be the sidestand itself. Try removing the sidestand and inspect that the mounting flanges are not bent or splayed open. If they are you could possibly bend them back to the proper spacing. Just a thought.

If you end up needing a new sidestand here's one of those on ebay too...

It's off a Trophy but it's the same part.
