I have a Silver 2000 Triumph Daytona with after market turn signals. I tried to replace one that does not work and now none of the turn signals work. I checked the fuse and it is ok. I also looked at the wires and they appear to be ok. I used a Volt meter to check the wires and the one is low on amps than the others and not sure if that is the problem. When I push the turn signal, I hear a click at the relay switch but nothing happens. Is there another relay or switch that I am missing? Also, could it be the turn signal bulb in the panel? Or what? I have a hanes book for my bike and the electrical diagram is not the same. Is there another book that I need? Or does anyone have a copy of the diagram that they can email? Thanks for your help!

In light of all this I also resently dropped my bike and am in need of a right side fairing and belly pan! Any sellers? Also, fairing protectors!null

Whenever I have had trouble like this it was always a poor ground connection. If you only have one wire to the turn signal then the signals are relying on chrome on plastic or similar to make the return ground connection. This cound be the fault. When I have been faced with this I have added a ground wire, returning to a proper ground. If you have two wires going to a signal, then one will be the ground - check that it actually is connected to ground! Good luck

You dropped your Daytona on the right side and DIDN'T pierce the mag crankcase/clutch cover? You're a lucky guy.

I've recently purchased a set of frame sliders from John King at SkyKing, no cutting, and easy install... I hear... I still need to find a T55 torx to get it done.

Sorry, I wish I could help you with your turn signal issue, but electrics are a black art that I haven't picked up yet.

Chazz32,

I had the chance to look up the wiring diagram for the Daytona tonight, and it does have 2 wires to the lights - White would be the earth, black live. The circuit is so complicated you'll need a PhD to figure out the rest! I have no scanner so cannot e-mail you the diagram. Could fax it though.
