Hey guys,

I need to put a new gauge cluster on my 02 955i, and was just wondering if anyone knows if I can use the earlier model analog gauges? I am having some trouble finding a reasonably priced 02 unit...

I don't think so. I just picked up a speedo unit for my '04 daytona 955i for 120 off ebay.

wow i'd be all over that...I havent even found one on ebay at all....

Id say its possible assuming both are electrical not cable operated. Surely its a matter of using the sensor from the 02 and wiring it to the wires from the analougue gauge. If its cable operated you might have to get another drive from the wheel plus a cable! Dunno someone look into it I'm curious now.

You know you can use any D955i gauge cluster, from '02 to '06, right?

yeah, but I'm still not finding any.

Can I use a sprint or speed triple one?

Probably, but you'd have to disregard the little red line on the tach, and just trust the rev limiter. If the plugs match up, it should work just fine, but I'd keep the gauges from other models as close to '02 as possible. Good luck.
