Sounding a bit lame but haven't had to do anything to the '98 tona, and didn't get a owners manual with it. Just wondered how difficult it is to replace clutch cable? Do people change them after 'x' amount of k's (if so rough figure) or just wait till they break? thanks...

Cable replacement is easy, but I never have changed my original cable on the 00 RS either. 84,000 miles later it still works. I did however start carrying a spare about 40,000 mile ago just in case. I've cleaned, lubed and adjusted the original since I bought the bike and it seems to be ok. General maintenance is almost magic.
