Welcome!

Nice to have another member in the Tona department. It can get a little slow over here... :

That's because Daytona owners would rather be riding.

Wooohooo! Finally!

Well, well, well, it looks like my better half finally made it here! Lol. This is a good thing because he will be MUCH better able to explain any of our questions than I have been, though you all have been so good about it. Thanks again.
Hi other King...eek, hope this is not a problem here in the Kingdom of Hinckley To answer your question, we both love HIS Daytona (really a Speed-Tona), but only KingRat rides her (with me on the back sometimes though! So much fun )
I am looking at a less powerful and smaller bike...possibly the 'Tona 675 or the new Street Triple. I really love the sportsbike style best and both of those bikes would be better suited to me...I'm only 5'5 and on the big 'Tona I can't touch both toes down, even on my tip toes. Also, while my significant other has been riding forever and is an excellent rider, I feel I fall into a much less experienced category. Slowly, but surely I hope to get there though.

the 675 bikes are to my knowledge still very tall and powerful bikes. you might look ata suzuki gs500 or a ninja 250 to learn on they tend to be sporty and good first bike friendy but ugly as well. also the have msf coarses you can take lets you get used to riding on small bikes for like 10 hours a day for several days. well its nice to have you both and we hope you enjoy the bike
