Hi guys - just joined after getting my latest ride, daytona 955 04 all black,
fantastic bike for the money and sounds fantastic - will sound even better when i locate a high level pipe hehehe!! any advise on keeping her in tip top condition would be appreciated - thanks

yeah...welcome..the site is full of nut lobs and good info....if ya have ANY concerns...ask....most issues have been dealt with here. no real issuse to speak of...there are some things that happen but most are easily remedied. enjoy the bike....is it brand new?....where ya live?.... anyhow....ride safe

Not a lot to keeping them in top shape, very low maintenance. Change the oil and perform general upkeep and it'll provide you with countless miles of fun and smiles. Welcome and have fun.

tommo955, In case you didn't know, you've a SE (Special Edition) model. Essentially it's all cosmetic with the black paint, black frame (standard in '05) and black wheels.

There's three D955is in this household...it's a great m/c even tho' it's one of the best kept secrets in motorcycling.

welcome i have the exact same bike and i love it. the pipe you need is made by trident. wolf can help you with it.
