Sai

Hi, I want to add a new map to my ecu using tuneboy, I have read the Secondry air injections posts about how to indentify wether sai is fitted by looking for the three hoses and valve, but where EXACTLY do they join, should i be looking in front of the motor at the exhaust headers or do they join under the tank behind the motor, sorry to sound dumb, just want to pick the right tune

They are kind of hard to see without taking stuff off the bike. The hoses go into the top of the valve cover right in front of the spark plugs and coils. The SAI valve is mounted on the front top part of the airbox.

I you lift the front of the tank, you should see the valve with the three hoses on the top of the airbox. Be careful lifting the tank.

The easiest thing I think would be to take one the side fairings off and look for the three hoses going into the top of the valve cover.

Here is what the system looks like:

Colin, Easiest way to check is to remove the LH infil. Look atop the cam cover and either there will be a trio of hoses (w/SAIS) or dished metal plates (wo/SAIS).
