easy question

Can someone tell me the size of the rear wheel nut? i didn't get a owners handbook with mine and i gotta buy a socket so that i can adjust the chain, thanks pete...

Hey Pete,

What year, model, and swingarm type (double or single sided) is this regarding? We can get you that socket size once we know this. Also, if it is a SSSA, then you need not take the axle nut loose to adjust the chain.

i agree...what year...and is it a sssa(single sided swing arm) or a dssa( double sided swing arm)? bombfactory is correct in that IF it is a SSSA ...it only needs to have the clamp bolt on the rear of the swing arm loosened. then use the spanner to tighten the chain to specs. otherwise the Double sided swing arm needs both bolts loosened, and the concentric adjuster moved on both sides equally, to tighten to specs.

Then the axle nut is 46mm and you do not loosen it to adjust the chain.

Here's how to adjust the chain: be careful not to overtighten!
Most newbs tend to overtighten SSSA chains - not good!
