Lookie what I brought home yesterday!

Yes, I mean the red one out in front. Holy @#$%#$ $%$ it's good to be back on a bike, and a Daytona at that!

It's an 04, with ~11k miles. Sargent seat, TOR CF can, and bar risers. I got all the stock parts with it, too. A big karmic thank you to the guy who took such good care of it for me; it's really clean. And boy do I love it, right down to the color of the wheels and the snort/howl of that exhaust. It sounds fantastic running right next to my buddy's 675, as I found out on the lunch run pictured above.

Great Looking Bike, I have an 04 beast as well. Can you post some pictures of the risers. I'm thinking about investing in some. Thanks - Web

riser pictures

Here are some quick shots I took this morning:

And this one shows the front face of the riser:

I really like them; I can sit almost bolt upright when I want to with these. Of course, I don't know if the bike would feel even better in the curves with the stock setup; maybe someday I'll get bored enough to swap them for a while and see. But don't hold your breath.

I don't see a brand name on them anywhere; can anyone tell me who made these?

We're still unpacking from our move (good lord, do I hate moving), so I haven't had time to play with the suspension at all yet. I'm looking forward to that, though.

Last one. I promise. At least in this thread.:
