RaceComp parts....

We all know that these bikes are hard to leave stock. i love the looks of my bike but it had to much red for my taste.....so how do you change that?.....simple paint, or aftermarket parts. i choose the later, and the choice of poison....RaceComp carbon fiber parts. Steve makes some sweet stuff, they go great on my red bike....in this last order i got a set of left/right side panel air scoops, a triangle infill that resides behind the front wheel, and the chain guard/rear mudguard. they all are top notch in quality and fit....thanks Steve....great stuff....now lets see how long i can hold out, and not buy more parts...here are a few pics...

Dano, I don't see the pics...

I've searched all over for carbon fiber and Racecomp seems to have the best selection. My '06 Daytona will come delivered with CF fairing inlays, side panels, and tank pad, I'll take the CF hugger off my S3 and install it. I have not placed an order for more CF yet, will be doing so in this fall.

How was it dealing with Racecomp? Their stuff is expensive, especially with the USD so low, but I figure it's worth it if the product and service are good.

Looks very nice Dano - the CF is a nice compliment to the red.

This is going to sound like a nit-pick but well-intended: You might consider trying to get replacement side panels to match up the bigger weave of the Racecomp parts.

Dan, my brotha, great minds think alike!!!

I just got my side vents, a lower "V" and an outer clutch cover. Steve does beautiful work!!! I'll post some pictures when I get the bike back together but I don't wanna spoil the suprise for anyone.

It's going to look like a new bike when she's all done. I have a complete set of (almost) new fairings, my header will be Jet-hotted, new rear brakes, etc. I can't wait to show you all....
