Shop to change sprockets & chain

Can anyone recommend a good shop (not a Triumph dealer) in the Seattle area to change the sprockets and chain on my 04 Daytona 955i? I don't trust the dealer shops, all 2 of them, in this area to do anything right, and they're not close to me anyway.

I'm probably doing the same thing in the next month. I know somebody will correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think its that tough of a job. I don't even think you have to pull the rear tire off. Hardest part is having the right socket for the countershaft sprocket, & the other is putting the rivet master-link in place. The tool to do the master-link is around $100 by itself. But you could save some bucks by doing it yourself & installing one of the clip style master-links. Then gently ride it to the shop & let them put the rivet link on.

The best shop to do that in is your garage, not very hard to do at all. I would do it yourself and save prolly $100 or so. If you need help im sure we can put together a run through for ya

I just changed my sprockets and gears on my 03 S3.
If your 04 Daytona has a single side swingarm you don't need to remove the rear tire. You will need a 36mm socket to remove the front sprocket.
I used a dremel to gring the pins down on my old chain to remove it, and my buddy had a home made tool to "peen/rivet" the connecting link on the new chain. fairly easy job. A dial caliper comes in handy to make sure you get the right spacing on the connecting link.

BTW I bought my chain (DID X-ring) and sprocket set from sprocketcenter.com for $189. Give chad a call at 888-265-2141 and he will hook you up.
