Hi, I have found a 1996 Speed triple with 61 original miles. Does any one have any idea on what a value may be. The guy is asking $6900.00 proably will go for $6500.00 it's the orange version. Also, is their handel bar kit for this bike????

I should have given you my two cents. That is way over priced. Low mileage or not since it is so old you won't find many factory accessories most likely which means you better love that in stock form plus what about hte rubber bits and tires on there...they are 8 years old now. I wouldn't give more than 4K for it myself. I also love the first gen Speed Triples too!

You can probably still find a left over 2003 for around 7K . . . I agree with vonbonds - 4k, maybe $4300 for a 1996.

Its a Classic. Whatever the price buy it keep it stock and before too long I reckon the price will stabilise if not increase. Its an investment. The first Hinkly machine to be a true Classic I think.

I loved mine but the lure of big ccs and a failed main bearing proved too much. As you transatlantic guys say theres no substitute for cubes. ( or something like that )
