Does anyone have any experience with (black) anodizing wheels, etc.? I love the look of the black wheels along with the frame and bodywork. Mine is an '06 in Jet Black, but has the silver (or grey) wheels. I was quoted $100 for doing both wheels from an outfit in Portland, OR. I doubt I could get them powder-coated for that, plus the p-c is heavier. Any thoughts? :hammer:

I think PC will actually look better, much richer than anodizing.
Anodizing on wheels looks good if clear, but pretty much any colour will a have a somewhat transparent look.
PC will be a nicer finish as far as wheels go IMO.

Yeah, I guess I'd agree with the richness of the powder coated look; they would also be glossier and no doubt more durable. I reckon I'll get a price on getting it done soon.

DeCosse, I forgot to ask; what was involved in fitting the GSXR forks? If the Daytona has a fault, it's that there doesn't seem to be any fork stuff available for it. Besides, I like the Ti Nitride coated tubes the GSXR's use.
