I recently picked up a '97 T595 and am trying to figure out if the front end has been dropped. On mine the fork tubes (the tubes themselves-not the adjuster nut) stick out above the yoke about 1 1/2". I've looked a bunch of photos to try to find a good pic of the yoke and fork tops but haven't really found one that answers my question. Some kind of look like they might be flush with the yoke, and some look like they might be raised.
I know that some folks drop the trees on the Thunderbird to quicken up the steering a little bit, so I'm kind of wondering if that's what happened here.

Thanks for your help!

If memory serves, stock is with the tubes sticking through the top clamp just a little, like 2mm.
Cheers, Lee S.
