Has anyone on here tried the Wilbers shock on their Daytona? It's a different brand, apparently it got a favorable review in X magazine, and I'm just wondering if anyone has actually mounted one up. I'm sure it'd be better that a worn out stocker.

I put a pair of Wilbers on my R1150RT BMW and it was the absolute best accessory I've ever fitted to a motorcycle.

The are almost infinitely adjustable, compliant and it transformed the handling of the Beemer.

They cost me $3500 Australian to have custom built for my bike, weight and riding habits so I've fought the temptation to spend that kind of money again on the Daytona.

My gut feeling is that it would transform a Daytona from a good handling and stable bike into a real scratcher. The feeling of trust I have in the BMW has seen my bike right up the rear end of some great sportbikes on rough and bumpy roads which is saying something for an underpowered and heavy bike...

Other Motorcycle: anything I can get.
I have never had an issue with the standard set up, Triumph suspension is so adjustable already, I have always been able to get a fantastic setup :???:

FYI, Wilbers is now HyperPro. I got the following response from Wilbers..

"I apologize for answering your request for a quote in this way, but we have a situation here which I was hoping would be resolved for the better of all of us. Instead I have to inform you that we are not in a position to offer Wilbers products any longer.

Please see attached letter to understand the situation better.

The new product from Hyperpro is available to you.
