So, besides checking the brakes, tightening various bolts and whatnot, is the oil change the only "real" work performed at the 6000 mi service?

If so, will my warranty be voided if I forgoe paying my dealer and just doing it myself????

Also, someone please give me the run down on what type and weight is needed (and how much) for this interval?

TIA
Ski

Service maintenance is in your manual. If you do not have one, go to www.RideTeamTriumph.com Once there, click "Technical" on the left side of the home page. This will take you to Service Interval Charts for all Triumphs. Just choose your model and print the results for your file.
