Just wondering if anybody with a 955i has tried one of the custom seat-makers other than Sargent or Corbin. Corbin doesn't list a seat for late model Daytona 955i models and the Sargent doesn't quite do it for me. I haven't ridden a Daytona with one on it, but the Sargent seat for my Sprint was no better than the original.

I have been reading the Daytona Forum from the first entry and while I haven't exhausted all the entries, I've read more than half. I haven't seen any mention of other than Sargent seats. I have checked websites for both Rick and Bill Mayer, and for Rich Seats, but find no pictures of late Speed Triples or Daytona 955i models.

How about it, folks, anybody have one of the custom-made seats? If so, how 'bout pictures and a report.

Many thanks. My Sprint is up for sale. I really want a Daytona, but I grow old and soft.

I guess my ass just has enough cushion because I have no issues with the stock seat. 12,000 miles and counting and I haven't even considered changing it out.

I have a Corbin on a '99, incidentally it was inspected by Jesus! That's right...I'm no Christian, but its nice to have the blessing anyway!

I have the Triumph"gel" seat and really like it. Not real expensive either.

hey I just asked a retailer about the triumph gel seat. Apparantly it's actually firmer than the standard seat. The regular seat apparantly gives way and your butt ends up on the solid base of the seat. I didn't think this was the case. Is the triumph gel seat comfortable or what?

I have the same gel seat you're looking for.. it's great.. much more comfortable than the stock seat.
