Hey guys hows every one?
I am thinking of getting into this. My local dealer seems to want to keep this a mystery to me. The resulting tunes at least. I'd like to understand more about the unit and the things I can effect with Tuneboy.
So
What are the dos and donts? Is the unit capable of capturing data from a ride?
Really, I'd like someone to tell me more about how they work on my Daytona 955.
Thanks

Of course he does. If you have the means to check error codes and load tunes, that's $ out of his pocket.

Read about the Data Logger feature.

What year is your ride?

Thanks for the reply. My bike is a 2004 Dathonna 955i with a Two Brothers racing can. .
I am more interested in how user friendly Tuneboy is.
But any guidance or advice is greatly appreciated

What l can gather from the Tuneboy site is that you buy their software and connections ,then [after your initial plug " in ] find out your ECU code number .
Next step ,they ask you to email for another "code number."
l am on the brink of spending the $$$ and teaching myself this biz. as well....
Let us all know what you think.

It has features that pretty much run the range. For stuff like checking and clearing codes and basic tuning they have a basic program thats very easy to use then they have a more advanced program for data logging and writing your own tunes. On there website they have a number of tunes already written for most aftermarket mods. You can also take it to a dyno that does Power Commander tuning and the tuneboy program will make a custom program based on the power commander dyno tune data.

Worth spending the money if you plan on owning your bike for a while, it makes trouble shooting so much easier.
