Saw two brave souls out on the pouring rain on the A15 near sleaford today, one 955 and a D650, the 955 was sporting hard luggage/topbox!! was this anyone here? :???:

No Nicks bike is identical to mine, this was a red one and it looked like a pre 02 bike :???:

Wasn't me, but I have been commuting solid for the past few weeks now in all conditions and to be honest, I absolutely love it. Gives me more of a sense of satisfaction when I get to clean it down from the rain and road crud!! In all seriousness though, it's amazing how much more confidence it gives me when it's actually dry !!

And of course - it does become a lot easier to spin up the back wheel  Hang on - wasn't that how I managed to throw the thing down the road a few months back... :shy:

Yes I love rain riding but the weather has been good while I have been off work, really sharpens your riding and smooths it out, also concentrates the mind more than dry weather.

I prefer not to ride in the rain. Not because I can't, I have. When my car got totalled, I had to ride the bike, and it was the worst downfall in years. My fear are the other idiot drivers. It is bad enough when the weather is great.

As Shaggy said, "Wasn't me".

It was raining so hard here in Brum I thought the monsoon season was upon us. I stayed in and spent the afternoon laughing at the hilariously un PC Kevin Bloody Wilson. Hey Santa Claus You ****

:hihi:

Sometimes you get a wet riding lesson when you least expect it this time of year! That is one thing about the Bridgestone stock tires I like is they seem to deal with water very well. As long as I am not getting totally soaked, it's not too bad.

Wasn't me but I guess that nearly 10% of my riding is in the wet. Had torrential rain loads of times and it's fine........
