Horrible squidly things that probably don't work any better than regular mirrors, but look real bad to boot.

...and in that location, the only thing they would be good for is admiring your own leathers.

mmm... leather.

Okay, Just throwing out ideas.

Would the mirrors off the 675 fit? I kind of like them as well.

A guy from a local shop has them on numerous bike he is selling. He states they are purely cosmetic and only help your bike pass inspection. You can't see behind you with them, at least on a GSXR 1000 and a Busa. I can't believe why they charge so much for them they aren't made out of much. He also said that they break off easily.

I would be surprised if they were DOT approved, but who knows.

I personally think the mirrors on my daytona are the best I have ever seen as for as being able to see behind me. The FZR I had were not great. I have ridden friends bikes that the mirrors weren't great. They include a Ducati, R1, CBR600rr, CBR 1000rr and a Kawi 1000. They may not look the greatest(but never really bothered me), but the are the best functioning and with all the NUTS out there, I can see what is coming up.

Ghetto-rific!

I think the original idea for the "pig-spotter" mirrors was to have a mirror that was angled to give the rider a rear view while up on one wheel.

In terms of aesthetics, I think they're awful looking. Looks like a "Tyrone'd" Busa :hammer:

Anyone got a solution for 97-99 model mirrors?

I know my arms look sexy but I'd rather see the fool about to run into me!

I have seen some sort of mount that fits under the mirror mounting point to put them further out, but I don't know where to find something like that.
