Ok i was looking the bike over with the tank off the other day and was wondering how to get more air into the air box other than using a turbo? Anybody ever made any mods to the air box?

burn_out04, Over the years I've found that a large air box containing still air drawn from a low pressure source to be the best. Introducing a ram air system may get more air into the box, but not necessarily into the throttle bodies/carbs.

the thing is that we are pulling air right behind the engine and our engine put off a lot of heat there for we are bring in hot air into the air box. im tring to bring colder air into the air box. the colder the air coming into the box the more power and gas mileage your going to get out of your bike.
