Changed radiator and coling fan. Refilled with proper fluid, 1st run some fluid came from reservoir drain hose.
Went out 1st stop to refuel, more fluid from drain hose and reservoir bubbling with air ??
Second and third stops no spill (5000 ft altitude);
Come down higher speed, lots of spill when arrived home and fluid level dropped to just bellow minimun.

Defective cap valve?
blocked hose to the overflow tank?
air into the system?

Any help is welcome

What does your temp gauge read when it's blowing coolant out of the overflow tube? When you refill everything, are you filling the radiator, or just the resevoir? When you're refilling the radiator, make sure the bike is level, and strip off both the side panels. On the right side of the radiator, at the top, there is a bolt, you can take that out and it helps bleed the air out of the system. Make sure the bike is on some kind of center stand when you're doing this. It won't work right otherwise.

i think the 02 and his 01 have different points where you release the trapped air. the 01 is just behind the head stock and under the front tank cover. at least it was on my 99. and that bike trapped air bad, you had to lay the bike on its side almost to get all the air out.....

Refilled the whole system, bike being upright in a rear stand.
Temperature indication when blowing coolant out is 2/3 high just trigging the fan at the same time.
Air breeder bolt is just beside the tap in 01.
Would air in the system do this?

Good hint from Triumph pit line mechanic during Interlagos Triumph track day:

Set coolant level with the engine HOT!!!

If overfilled during maintenace, let it flow using the bike and replenish to MINIMUM LEVEL with the bike HOT (cooling fan ON after engine shut down). It worked!

Looks like reservoir is undersized for tropical temperatures...
