New here and I am looking at a 2002 Daytona 955i, but Im only 5'7" 190 (32" inseam) and was wondering if the bike is going to be too tall for me.

What do you guys think?

Thanks.

Other Motorcycle: anything I can get.
my first responce was you will probably be on tip toe when you stop, I think there may be solutions but as I am 6'2" I think you will struggle, input from smaller riders please.

I am 5' 7" and I tip toe on the bike. Its not bad once you get use to it. Trying to hold the bike still on an incline is difficult without holding the brake. Also backing out of a space in to an incline is very difficult. I find in stop and go traffic I lean to my left foot and keep the other on the brake.
The plus side being shorter allows me a little more room on the bike. I am actually very comfortable on it.
So mind where you park and you'll love the bike.

:-D

I am 5'5" with a 30 inseam. I am on my tip toes, but I don't complain as I enjoy this bike tremendously. :-D

Im 5 foot 6 and although I have to be careful where I park, I am very comfortable on the bike.
If you really need to move the bike backwards up an incline you just get off and pull it. Easy!

I just bought a '94 Daytona 1200 and as a 5'8 rider, I find it very awkward to say back it out of a garage - doable but awkward. On tiptoes, I don't find I have enough oomph to push over even minor bumps - but you can always get off and handle it from the side.

My first bike by the way - been on plenty but the first I've actually owned. Very fun. Its actually in transit right now from Montreal where I bought it to Nova Scotia where I live.
