ever really ride their Daytona at normal speeds and not abuse the opportunity to run hard through the twisties? :-)

Yeah, its kinda nice to ride the mid range. You get into a sort of flow. No hard braking just rolling on and off the throttle. Very relaxing. then you realise you are still going way over the speed limit. :wink:

I was just curious because since last October when I got mine, I've managed 9000 miles and honestly out of those 9000 I'd have to say at least 8000 are or have been of questionable speed and fun riding in corners. As much as I try I cannot seem to keep the thing at an acceptable legal speed. When I jump on the RS with a Daytona motor I can cruise around legally w/o a problem with an occasional outburst of speeding.
