G`day Fellow Daytona riders
l`m from the mid north coast of NSW, ride a 99 Daytona...also a Tiger of the same vintage for the times when l`m feeling a bit adventurous.
Lucky to live near the "famous" Oxley Hwy.One of THE best roads in the country.A must ride for any road rider.

What did we do that so pleased God that he placed us on Triumphs near heavenly roads?

G'day trumpychip, (why 'chip') u got it made, great location and i see 3 rides... i've got a '98 Daytona, only had it for a week, great bikes! i hear there are lots of cops on the Oxley, is that true??? i'm in the Blue Mtns enjoying the great riding weather... c ya

Hi there Peterk...the good old BlueMts ..eh..I spent my youth in them there hills.Still get down there visiting friends and family on a regular basis..Good choice of bike ..the old Daytona.I won`t part with mine ...must be 4yrs or more now since my conversion ..
The "OX" is agreat ride .sure a few cops along the eastern end towards Wauchope, but the twisty`s are yours.

Vmax l must say you have some good roads in the Sunshine state ..only trouble seems to be they finish just when you`re getting into it..Turn around and do it again I guess!

Hey trumpychip, was supposed to do the 'OX' with a dozen mates, i was on my old CBR1000 late last year, didn't quiet get there, long boring story, will have to make the effort soon. I do the down the mtn, nth richmond, Bells loop, Mt Vic, although not on the tona as yet, only had it a week... Maybe next week as the autumn weather at the moment is fantastic!!!
