I see risers can be had for my dad's Sprint for $140 or so..They are nearly twice that for the Daytona..***!?? Is there anything cheap out there? Can you fit Sprint bars on the Daytona? Any ideas?

I guess those are the laws of supply and demand. The D955 was simply not a big seller (oh those poor deluded fools who are missing the magic!)...hence not big demand. My Heli's were $250 US. Expensive...but I love what they have done to the comfort of the bike. The only oddessey was finding bolts to fit the bar ends...it took 7 months before I tracked them down at Brafasco (a specialty fastener outfit up here in Ontario)...but complete with Allen key head!I'll post the size when I track down the paper I wrote it on (they are about 2/3rds the length of the stock bolt and I believe 6mm).

Go with the Heli's. I don't think you will regret it...particularly now that you seem to have decided you need them.

Welcome to my world....I love my bike but it needs a few things so I can ride it a lot more. (levers, risers, and a seat). I didnt realize practically nothing was made for these bikes, and the things that are, usually are double the price of any other bikes. When I start pricing things I swear I own a harley......If i wouldve known i wouldve had this much trouble, i most likely would not have bought the bike. Oh well...We live and we learn.

To answer original question: Sprint top clamp / bars won't fit - different size forks
