Stupid question, but i bought a daytona 6 months ago and now think i prefer the touring position of a sprint. can i modify the daytona?

Different frames and a lot of the architecture re seating position & pegs as well as the bars.

Best bet would be to install some means of rasing the bars - helibars or gilles variobars or convertibars might be among the options.
You need to be careful with that generation daytona - it doesn't take much to create interference with the fairing.

Given your location, take a run over the Rhonda to Sandy at Triumph-Ant in Merthyr.
See what he has in his incredible stockpile of Triumph bits that will achieve what you want.

thanks mate. i often thought of new bars. its a 99, and a recent 220 mile round trip nearly killed me. praps its a sell and buy situation.
