G'day guys newbie here from down under/across the pond/Oz... just bought a '98 Daytona. Haven't had a chance to do many k's it's been raining though that hasen't stopped me going out to the garage to sit and look at my new toy!!! I luv it... This looks like a cool place to hang out there is so much here!! (Was going to upload a pic from my comp. but not sure how to, have to work on that one)

peterk, Welcome to the forum.

Take a look at the sticky to upload photos, I use photobucket. There is also a sticky that'll help.

Are you new to riding, or new to Triumph?

yeah...welcome to the nut house.....what color is the 98?...and do use photobucket...its easy....you basically load your pics into Photobucket.com and then they can be linked or used here at this forum.

bradtx: saw sticky re. p/bucket after my post, will suss it out. haven't had a lot of bikes, late '70's 1st bike Z900, then '81 Z1000j, 25 yrs away, wife, kids, now no wife, lucky for me my kids still like me, picked up a cheap '87 CBR1000 fighter 3 yrs back and last week traded the old girl on the Daytona...

dano: my ride is yellow, haven't used p/bucket but will do so.

Hello and welcome from the other side of the world. I used to have a black '98 T595 Daytona myself. A beauty.

thanx for the welcome Mark. had my Daytone a week tomorrow and the autumn weather here at the moment is fantastic, am getting on the bike any spare moment i get and loving it... pete
