I'm a new Tri955i owner, 2004 model.I have noticed that the return spring down on the engine case is broken, I can order the spring and have a manual to do the repairs. The clutch seems to be just fine.
Are there any adverse effects if I don't replace this spring ?? :???:

Other Motorcycle: anything I can get.
Well the clutch has all the spring it needs to re engage when the clutch is let out, I think the only thing that spring is for is to keep the tension in the cable? is it still working ok, if so I would leave it for a quiet day when the weather was bad.

tri955i, The '02 D955i's spring has been broken for, well who knows how long. No adverse effects.

Not that it shouldn't be repaired.
