I am evaluating the purchase of a used Daytona. I have ID'd two bikes here in California: 1. A 2001 955i in silver with <4k miles and 2. A 2002 CE with <5k miles. Both are in excellent condition and come with a number of options and extras. Any reasons to prefer one over the other?

Other than the newer body style of the 02 I believe it also has more horsepower.........John

I have an '02 955i double sided swing arm version. I can tell you that it has plenty of power. You can lift the front wheel whenever you want or just go really fast.

OOOooooh That's a tough one.......

I really like the look of the older body style but the extra HP is very appealing.

How's that for no help at all?
