Miami955J, Best to get a manual. Even the Haynes version will be of help.

It isn't a difficult procedure, but there are some precise steps to follow.

Okay, well I just did my Daytona about a month ago so, here goes: The main thing is to have on hand the new clutch cover gasket, oil filter, correct oil, friction discs ( which need to be soaked in engine oil, best if soaked for 24 hours, but 6-8 will work, but not recommended)

#1 disconnect the battery
#2 remove the plastics on the right side
#3 drain the oil and dispose of properly
#4 loosen the clutch cable at the lever assembly
#5 remove the cable from the lever( to slacken the lower
connection to the though linkage)
#6 remove the cable from the lower linkage
#7 remove the clutch cover ( taking note to which screws
go to which location)
#8 Gently tap on the cover to loosen it
#9 slowly remove the cover taking care as the clutch linkage will
need to rotate a bit anti-clockwise to release the pull rod
#10 carefully clean both mating surfaces without gouging the
surfaces
#11 remove the five pressure plate bolts with washers
and springs( Try to keep them together as sets, this
is not super critical, but I do it on all clutch jobs)
#12 now you can slide the pressure plate straight off with
the pull rod
#13 Take note that the last friction disc is in the outter set of
groves on the basket.
#14 start removing the friction plates and the steels that
separate them ( note the direction of the steels ) also
remove the anti-judder spring( this is a small narrow
ring that is beveled which lives under the inner plate
take note on how the ring is oriented
#15 measure the friction disc thickness the standard is
3.80mm to 3.88mm for new the discard is 3.60
#16 measure the steels warpage discard is 0.20mm
#17 wipe the basket out with a clean lint free cloth and make
sure you have all the pieces of the gasket material
removed and No Bit In the Pan!!
#18 check the pull rod bearing in the pressure plate
if it feels rough, tight or sloppy, If any of these thing
exist replace the bearing
#19 install the anti-judder spring the same way it was
removed
#20 start installing the friction discs and steels as you removed
them
#21 Install the last friction disc in the outter grove on the
basket
#21 Now install the pressure plate with the pull rod in it.
#22 install the pressure plate springs, washers and bolts
hand tight only!!
#23 You can now torque the pressure plate bolts in a star
pattern, torque them to 10Nm and go around them
atleast twice
#24 Install the clutch cover gasket
#25 you can now reinstall the clutch cover taking care to
align the linkage to the clutch rod
#26 start installing the clutch cover screws, but only hand
tight, then torque them in a star pattern to 9Nm
#27 reinstall the clutch cable at the bottom first then the top
then adjust it so that it has enough release to fully
engage the clutch plus a bit to account for handle bar
swing and readjut it after about a week of use
#28 remove and install a new oil filter
#29 fill the engine with the correct oil and to the correct
level
#30 reconnect the battery
#31 put the bike in gear and try to roll the bike, if it rolls
easily readjust the clutch cable, if it will not roll try to
roll it with the clutch pulled in if it now rolls easily, place
the bike in neutral.
#32 start the bike and let is warm up, check for leaks on the
cover
#33 if no leaks are seen, you can reinstall the plastics
#34 take the bike for a short ride and ride it gently, then
stop and check the cable adjustment again, if it is
good then you are DONE!!!

I hope this helps you, I have done the job on a few times on my Speed Triple and daytona. Also I have done it on alot of Gsxr's and Fzr's. Good luck
