Noticed this the other day, No gas was spilled during fill up any one else having this problem?Page Title

ON the latch that covers the key hole for the gas tank the paint has started to bubble or blister. It has blistered in a perfect circle I,ll try to post a better picture of it.

I think I might have a replacement where you would have to take your lock off and put it on my cover. I will have to look to see if it is perfect. I think I found where you are talking about is it where the flap has the thicker part that covers the key? You could possibly just take off that little cover to.

Ansky, Just looked at both D955is here. The '02 is fine, but the '04's is rougher underneath and a couple of scratchs with my thumbnail rubbed a spec or two of paint off. I'm not going to worry about it as it doesn't seem 'corrodeable'.

wow and to think I felt bad when I dropped the tail section of my 3 week old tona on the cement floor of the garage and scratched it up. I feel better about that now.
