I just installed a Triumph high mount carbon can and K&N filter onto my 2003 Daytona 955i. The dealer loaded the latest Triumph high mount tune and now the bike smells like it is running a little rich. We switched the tune back to stock and the bike was running to lean. Needless to say, I am using the high mount tune, but the bike feels like it has loss some power.

Any ideas on what I should?

Have you tried swapping back to your stock filter element for reference?

I haven't, but I think I'll give it a try. I assume the tune was developed for the stock filter.

Does anyone think the octane of the gas I use makes any difference? I use 93 premium now, but I have friends that us 89 in their bikes.

Use the lowest grade that doesn't ping.
