The latest issue of BIKE magazine to hit the states has a blurb concerning a recall on Triumph Speed Triples, Sprint ST ABS and Daytona 955i's. While the article states the recall is for '06 models, best to check serial numbers. The problem is a defective stud can cause the rear brake caliper to break from its mounts. If anyone has the recall letter or knows what serial numbers are affected, please post.

This has been out for awhile. It is only on the 06's so you shouldn't have anything to worry about.

Thanks Tech! I also talked to my dealer who was VERY aware of it. He is going to double check my serial number against the issue and let me know. My VIN is kinda in between 05 & 06 models so he is going to make sure I sleep at night!!! Thanks again!

Brooksie, You can compare the swingarms between yours and the '06s. They are visually a little different. If yours looks like an '06's, perform the recal, if not...
