Looking to pick up a set of frame sliders. Anybody have any suggestions?? I know a lot of people run the Sky King ones but I am afraid of my knees hitting the sliders. I am 6'4" so I need my space. I have never had a set on any bike because I never planned on going down but ****e happens. Better to be safe than sorry, especially for the price.

Thanks.

I've got the Skyking sliders on my CE. I'm 6'5'' and I have no problems with leg room. You'll be fine.

Yeah, I don't see how your knees would hit them. They are placed down by the radiator area. out of t eh farings. You shouldn't have a problem at all. Sky king also makes rear sliders that go on the sub frame where the back peg holder mounts, or one that slides through the rear wheel hub. The only problem with that is if you want to puyt in on the stand you would have to take it off everytime.

Couldn't you just use a standard stand?

I have the Skyking frame sliders and the rear axle slider on my Daytona. I'm 6'7" tall and have no leg room problems at all. (I know, 6'7" on a Daytona. That's pretty goofy looking, but I don't care)

I love the rear axle slider because it was half the price of a single sided swingarm stand. My roommate already had a regular stand that I could use, so the savings was worth it for me. I can do anything I need to do except take the rear wheel off, in which case I would just take it to the dealer.

I suppose you could use the standard stand that has the spool attachement, but if you ever needed to take the tire off this wouldn't work.
