I got this email from Phil Hudson

Good morning all,

Two Wheels magazine held their annual “Bike of the Year” ceremony last night and it is with great pride that we can announce that the “journalist’s choice award” went to the world beating Triumph Daytona Triple 675.

I think this confirms what we all already know, that this is a fantastic motorcycle!

Currently we are still taking deposit orders with expected delivery times of mid November.

This great news adds to the fantastic sales figures we are all achieving (Already exceeded last years total of 1930 sold units with 3 months still remaining).

Thank you all for you continued support with Triumph,

“The Triumph Team” Phil Hudson

Hi Det,
If I could afford two bikes I'd have one in a blink, it would be a lot easier to ride than my GSX R600.

DaveM-from the magazine articles I've seen, the GSXR600 is possibly the best all round street bike of the group to date because of the ergonomics. The 675 is a fun bike to ride, FROM WHAT I READ, but there are none available to demo. I'll tell you what, if I could ride it, I might like it enough to get rid of both the Bonnie and 955.

I test rode one a few months ago - I also test rode the new R6, a ducati 748 and 749, a benelli tornado and a daytona 9551 centenary.
The 675 was a perfect bike for me, and in my opinion, in a different ball park to all those other bikes. The 955i came second and if it wasn;t for 6750 annoying reasons, I would have the 675 in a jiffy!!
The benelli was still the best looking though!
