why would you convert a daytona into a speed triple? why not just buy a speed triple? :???:

2002 speed triple sell here for between $10,000 and $12,500 dollars.
I paid $5000 for this damaged 02 model with 20,000ks on the clock.It will cost me about $6500 on the road.

I am getting the fairing fixed so I can have either Daytona or Speed triple.

I'd say that the better alternitive is making a naked daytona. No side fairings but keep the modern front. Not that I don't like the S3 but by doing that, you make a bike that's totally unique. Not quite an S3 and not a Daytona...

There has been some good examples on here before, I forget where though...
