Been thinkin about replacing my Daytona’s stock exhaust can with one from “Staintune.” Anyone have experience with them on a Daytona?

Thanks

Staintune make beautiful systems but the version for the Daytona is really loud. I think the canister doesn't have enough volume to suspress the big triples sound well enough. And I mean pretty loud, guessing well over 100db.
I have Staintune on my Ducati's new Bonneville and love them.
Take a look at Leo Venci, "large" canister version or Hindle with the 20" oval canister. Both have excellent build quality and are very light.
Good luck,

Hey Harvey!
I have a Staintune full system with carbon cans on my Super III and I have to say that loud or not, I LOVE IT!. The sound is just intoxicating. They are loud but I don't think they are obnoxious.
The fit and finish is fantastic. Did I mention they sound good?

Anybody know what a Staintune sounds like on a TT600? I am thinking about one, but don't want to wake the dead.

Thanks for the input!

I think I’m going to give it a try. I’ll be going with the stainless vs. the carbon though. I don’t want it to be obnoxious, but I’ve got to scratch this itch-

I’ll keep y’all posted on it. Eventually, once I figure how to do it, I’ll post a photo of my bike. Its still stock at the moment, but I’ve noticed the photo album doesn’t have one yet-

Finally got the money together and had the stainless Staintune exhaust pipe installed on my CE Daytona last Friday.

I was looking for a pipe that would produce a deeper tone, but not obnoxious.

I didn’t like the sound much with the restrictor in place; it would make a fluttering sound as the RPMs drop to idle. As the RPMs rise it sounds kind of thin…

However, with the restrictor removed its sounds great! Idle produces a deeper tone without being very loud in the lower RPMs (under 5 or 6k). If you want to sound more aggressive, the throttle is your friend; roll it on and the engine just barks through it!

The workmanship is first rate, and the engine runs cooler- I love it!

Got any pics Harv?
I would love to see what that pipe looks like on the Green Machine.
Are you using a different tune?
Thanks
