i have a 98 955i and it needs a tire...i know the size is a 190 but my buddy has a couple of 180 i can get for free i was wondering if anyone has used a 180 and can i use a 180 or will it effect anything...thanks in advance

180s will fit just fine, I would've gone with the 190 if I had the $$$$

Yes the 180/55 should work. That is what I put on mine. It handles better in corners withteh 180 compared to the 190

I agree; You'll find the 180 will significantly improve the handling. I went to a 180 many years ago and was very pleasantly surprised by how effortlessly the bike flicked into corners compared to the 190.

180 on mine and the handling is so much better than the 190.
