I am suddenly in the market for a new bike and am wanting to purchase a 955 daytona. Calling around to a couple of dealers here in Illinois I was quoted a couple of prices for 06 models only, no 05's in stock or they just don't want to bring any in. One dealer said 10.2K OTD 0 miles and the other said 9400 OTD, but it is a demo with 200 miles, which I don't like the idea of someone else putting on 200 carefree miles of crucial break in time on my new bike especially for that kind of money. Question is are those prices for a 955 daytona decent OTD, seemed high to me especially a demo, heck they both seemed pretty high, but maybe I'm just not thinkin right.

Thanks

Try South Suburban in South Chicago Heights, Illinois. They have two brand new 955i's in. I think they are '05's but not sure.

If you are anywhere near Southern Illinois, go to RPM Mororwerks in Belleville, IL. Ask for Steve or Theresea. I was able to walk out the door with my 03 955i at $8200. Not sure what they would do on an 05 or 06, but it's worth the call. (618) 235-4777.

Not 100% sure, but they might have an 06 Daytona 675 demo for sale (Graphite grey) Which, by the way, was broken in by Steve and his son- so you know it was done right. I'm sure he'll work a killer deal on it, because they deal, primarily, in Bonnies and Thruxtons and the like.

It's worth the drive, trust me.
